About ZamBlogs
This site brings together leaders from the political, business, government, NGO and other sectors of Zambian society to discuss or blog about various issues of national interest. The contributors do not necessarily agree with each others’ views or even with the views of the host or site managers (nor vice-versa). They all have independent opinions, and neither do these necessarily represent the opinions of any organizations or official positions that they hold anywhere.
The project is a way of ensuring that the thoughts and ideas of our leaders from these different spheres are collected in one place for the public to learn from their views and to advance intelligent national discourse on different issues for the sake of cultural progress. ZAMBLOGS will try to avoid acrimonious politics so that it will be the one refreshing place where Zambians could simply come to read about different ideas without the distractions of personal politics.
All visitors to the site are invited to comment on the various contributions, but in a civil and mature tone that is focused on the ideas and not on the person (if you believe the writer you are responding to is too inferior to you, intellectually or morally, then please just don’t bother wasting your precious time responding to them — this site is probably not for you!)
